Daniel Guillemette-Smith

I joined Caister Lifeboat in 2017 when I was 15, having become interested after seeing the boat launch. I've loved every minute since and I enjoy the different challenges that the lifeboat brings and the responsibility it gives me.

Most rewarding:
I take pride promoting our services to commit ashes to sea and find that very rewarding. I enjoy meeting funeral directors, both locally and elsewhere in the country. The services we hold on the lifeboat as we set ashes and wreaths of flowers into the sea not only is a chance for a family to find peace in bereavement, but that the donation or legacy that comes from our supporters goes a long way in keeping our lifeboats in service for future generations.

As an independent Lifeboat we depend entirely on donations
