The new ILB was called to a broken down Jet Ski off Caister. The boat was launched with Tom Williams and Guy Gibson on board by Tractor Driver Ali Brown.

A young man was taken off the broken down Jet Ski which was about a quarter of a mile off Caister Beach. He was slightly Hyper thermic so the crew called the Beach crew to get the stretcher and blankets.

He was brought ashore and warm jacket and blankets wrapped around him the Paramedics were called and we carried him up the beach. After being checked over by the Paramedic he changed into dry clothes and headed home.

The man was dressed in a tracksuit top and jogging bottoms, no life jacket or wet suit. The owner of the Jet Ski said that he had the equiptment at home. he was told that in future never to use his Jet Ski or allow anyone else to use it without the correct clothing.

The Sea temperature was about 4-5 C.
