The All-Weather Lifeboat (ALB) was launched at the request of Humber Coastguard to assist Gorleston Inshore Lifeboat (ILB) in the search for a person reported to have entered the water behind the Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth.

The ALB conducted a shoreline search from the outer harbour to Iron Duke Corner before being stood down. Despite poor visibility, searchlights and the onboard thermal imaging FLiR camera were used to ensure the area was fully covered before returning to station
