"annette thurlow": all weather Lifeboat

Annette Thurlow, Caister Lifeboat’s new 14m Medina Class vessel, built by Diverse Marine, is designed to perform in the toughest conditions while keeping our crew safe and ready for every rescue.

With self-righting capability, a dedicated stretcher area, and All-Salt Shoxs suspension seats for six crew, it’s a dependable platform for life-saving missions.

Its raked stem reduces impact when recovering to the beach in rough seas, ensuring a smoother ride for both crew and rescued survivors.
